It's good to be blogging again...

Last Saturday I got a call from my cousin telling me that I am going to be a godfather of their first child. I was thrilled. Later in the afternoon, I came by to their home. Took this photo as a remembrance of my 4th godchild... (no gender yet, the couple prefers it to be a surprise) hmmm but my guess it's a girl. Let's see.

black and white

I decided to shoot this in black and white because it symbolizes the reality of life, either you are rich or you are poor nothing intermediate. There are only two sides of the coin, ither you're good or bad.

rays of the sun

the sun rays represent hope. A light amidst the darkness. It is a comforting feeling that even in the absence of light, there are these noble people that extend a hand and lead us through our way.

the pencils

A simple reminder that not all of us can afford to buy even a single pen and some might not even have owned a new one.

This is our chance to make a difference, our chance to be involved.

G olden Week is near and a backpacking is waiting to happen. Finally, after months of anticipating this activity to come true I am now in a brink of waking up from a dream.

I am still completing my itinerary though... but for sure hamamatsu and shizuoka are on top of my list.

Dreaming

"Being single does not entail loneliness", I often remind myself.

But still I want my life to be as normal as it can be. I'd love to have kids someday, two actually and a caring wife who stays with me through ups and downs. I want to go camping with my family, building campfire and fishing on a nearby river. Fixing the leaking pipes in the kitchen, so my wife will be happy when she gets home. Seeing smirks on my children's face whenever they hear my loud fart. Driving an SUV on a road trip during weekends. Scolding my children whenever they did something wrong. Drinking with my friends and sees my wife's nth missed calls on my cellphone. Sleeping on the couch because my wife is mad about what I did. I want to feel the warmth in my home. I want a family.

Now my only concern is that I might wake up one day and realize that it was just all but a mere dream.

It's no secret that we are in love. The day that I met you was the day that I saw my future. I love you the second I laid my eyes on you. Your body, it drives me nuts. And that face, it takes my breath away. My life has changed the the moment we connected. Ow how I adore you. Clearly our relationship is mutual. I take good care of you and in return you give me happiness. You never left me. You never turned me down. Never have I heard you complain even in the hardest times.You are always there to support me, give me strength. You are my bestfriend and my lover.

With me being always attached to you, I can never imagine a moment of my life with you. I know that there were times that I have taken you for granted, forsaken you, but believe me it hurts me more than it hurts you. Each day that passes by my affection for you grows more and more like a flame slowly growing fueled by my passion for you. I can no longer bear these feelings I have for you. How lucky I am to have you in my life, my love... my computer.

Can you tell me where he lives? and what country he's in?

Would you believe that amidst those high fashion and extremely expensive couture s walking down the streets of Tokyo people like him are striving to live.?

Yes, behind the facade lies the unfortunate truth. The truth that even on a fast changing
economically superpower country like Japan, there are people that seems to be left behind by time. But what is more unfortunate is that no one seems to bother. I may never understand the reasons but what I do understand is that they are rapidly multiplying.

Isn't that alarming?

This world we live in is changing and nobody knows what to anticipate.

Ahh yes! probably my most favorite place visited in Japan. I never get tired of going to Disneyland resort. This photo was taken December last year. It was my fifth visit since 2005.

Classic fashion

I was walking by a street near our house when I spotted these four Japanese wearing their national costume, the Kimono. The word "kimono" literally meant "thing to wear", Ki "wearing" and mono "thing"

hmm, maybe I'm gonna try wearing one ;p

Tokyo's Pride

Whenever you're in Japan, never miss a day without visiting Tokyo Tower.

at 333 meters high, it is the tallest artificial structure in Japan. The view from below is adorable
but the view of Metro Tokyo from inside the tower is much more breathtaking.
